People are literally searching phrases like “affordable gifts under $25,” “local events this weekend,” or “how to get more clients.” And if those phrases are nowhere in your captions or profile? You’re probably not showing up.

Here’s what to do:

  • Think like your audience. What are they typing in the search bar?

  • Use plain language. No need to be poetic—just be clear.

  • Include your keywords in the first line of your caption, where they carry the most weight.
